15 Reasons you should Learn Digital Marketing in 2024

15 Reasons why you should learn digital marketing in 2022

Have you ever wondered… Why is everyone talking about digital marketing so much?

Well, i’ll try to explain ‘why’ first, before I come over to the digital marketing definition.

With over 560 million internet users, India is the second largest online market in the world, ranked only behind China.

By 2021, there will be over 600 million internet users in India.

Despite the large base of internet users, only 34 percent of the indian population could access the internet in 2017..Even then, this was a big increase when compared to the previous few years, when internet penetration rate stood at approximately a little over 10 percent.

Let’s have a look at the graph to understand the growth in a little more depth:

As you can see in the graph—In 2018, India had over 480 million internet users across the country. At present, 759 million are ‘active’ internet users, accessing the internet at least once a month. By 2025 the number is expected to grow to 900 million. (Source: thehindu.com).

Likewise the advertisers’ spending is increasing in digital marketing to target the ever growing user base. Hence there’s a need for a large number of digital marketers and their demand is only going to be growing with each passing day.

So I believe we are not left with a choice here.

First time I heard about digital marketing in 2013. I am owning two successfully running startups as of today. I laid down the foundation for my first startup ‘Ad School Master’ in 2016 and 2019 was the birth year of my second startup ‘Airifier’.

Honestly speaking, I wouldn’t have founded any of the startups had it not been for my digital marketing skills.
